People

Full Beam Visual Theatre are Lizzie Philps (Artistic Director), Rachel McNally (Producer), Katie Keeler (Chair of the Board).

Lizzie is a founding member of Full Beam. She read Drama at the University of Exeter, and trained in clown and comic acting at the Ecole Phillipe Gaulier and the Scuola Internazionale dell' Attore Comico. She has extensive experience in puppetry and prop making, having worked for the BBC, Aardman Animations and devised and directed all Full Beam shows. Freelance puppetry direction includes "His Dark Materials" at Theatre Royal, Bath, and "Black Dog Times" with Heather and Ivan Morrison, recent freelance performance work includes a residency with Reckless Sleepers at MAC and an interdisciplinary performance residency in Novi Sad, Serbia. Lizzie is Course Leader of the HND in Acting and Theatre Making at Filton College, Bristol and is completing an MA in Performance Studies.

Rachel read Classics at the University of Bristol and has worked with a number of different organisations including The South West Film Commission and The Countryside Agency. She has worked as general manager and producer on all Full Beam’s shows, is a freelance producer for several successful Bristol companies, and is co-producer of Bristol Festival Of Puppetry.

 Katie Keeler is another founding member of Full Beam. She has worked for the British Council and Volcano Theatre. She is currently Creative Producer at Theatre Bristol.
